Meet Dr. Jocelyn Redlinski
Dr. Jocelyn was born and raised in Orchard Park, New York and is the daughter of chiropractor Dr. Damian Redlinski. Her father ran a private chiropractic office in the suburbs of Western New York and was the chiropractor for the local NFL team for 39 years! With her father being a chiropractor, Dr. Jocelyn has had the fortune of being under chiropractic care beginning at day one. Although she has been under chiropractic care her entire life, Dr. Jocelyn didn't see the true value of consistent care until her athlete career took off during high school and through college. Dr. Jocelyn contributes chiropractic care to being an integral part of her journey to becoming an NCAA All-American track and field athlete at North Central College in Naperville, IL.
From an early age, Dr. Jocelyn found her strengths to be in math and science and spent many years exploring a variety of health-related fields. During her undergraduate studies, she was offered a position as a structural biology research intern at the Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute in Buffalo, NY. Through this opportunity she was able to have her work presented across the globe and published. It wasn't until her junior year at North Central that she figured out what her true calling is; helping others discover their true potential through the world's largest, drug-less healing profession, chiropractic.
Dr. Jocelyn was able to carry on her father's legacy by attending the same chiropractic school, Palmer College of Chiropractic. Palmer is the birth place of the chiropractic profession and is one of the largest chiropractic schools in the world. While at chiropractic school, Dr. Jocelyn was blessed with a position as Assistant Track and Field coach at a Augustana College. This experience not only allowed her to coach athletes at both the conference and national levels but allowed her to see the need college aged women have for grounded role models to look up to and have as part of their story.
Before graduating from Palmer, Dr. Jocelyn took many opportunities to travel the country to seminars and to serve countless hours in some of the largest chiropractic offices in the country. Prior to opening Crossroads Chiropractic, she was able to spend 4 months serving in the largest chiropractic office in the state of Alabama which is also one the top pediatric offices in the state, Cornerstone Family Chiropractic.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Dr. Jocelyn is currently pregnant with Baby #2! Baby #2 is expected to make his or her arrival in February of 2025. She plans to be in the office up until the baby is here but may be absent from the office at sporadic times due to pregnancy. After baby is born, we will make an announcement and Dr. Jocelyn will be on maternity leave from that point until further notice.
Meet Dr. Kent Replogle
Born and raised in Houston, Ohio, Dr. Kent grew up on a farm which ingrained in him his strong work ethic and belief in the results that can come from hard work. Dr. Kent started sporadically seeing a chiropractor at a young age for various injuries but as he got older and starting playing more sports it became much more frequent. His primary purpose for seeing a chiropractor was to patch up the aches and pains so he could get back on the court or field as quickly as possible. By the time he was a sophomore in high school he knew that he wanted to be a chiropractor himself, but didn’t fully know what chiropractic could do and how it could help with more than just the bumps and bruises of being an athlete.
After high school, Dr. Kent attended The University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio where he majored in Health Studies. While at Findlay, Dr. Kent was able to spend all four years working with the Men’s Basketball team as a manager. During his time as manager he learned the importance of leadership, teamwork, and managing how to work with both the athletes while also coordinating with members of the coaching staff. During his time as the manager, he helped see the team to winning 3 conference tournaments! The knowledge he learned about all of the inter workings of a large scale team and the vital component each piece brings to the team is something he is very happy to bring to Crossroads Chiropractic.
After graduating from Findlay, Dr. Kent took a leap of faith and moved out of state for the first time to attend Life University in Marietta, GA where he pursued his doctorate in chiropractic. During his time at Life University, Dr. Kent was able to travel the country to countless offices to serve their communities. Practically every free weekend and break in between quarters was spent in a new office learning as much as he could from other before graduation. One of the offices Dr. Kent was able to serve in was Cornerstone Family Chiropractic in Auburn, Alabama - the place where the friendship of Dr. Kent and Dr. Jocelyn began! Dr. Jocelyn and Dr. Kent remained friends for over a year before they started dating and were married on September 19, 2020.
Before starting at Crossroads, Dr. Kent was able to spend the last 3 months before graduating over at one of the largest family focused chiropractic offices in Tennessee, Stewart Chiropractic Center.
Meet Dr. Tanner Mitchell
Dr. Tanner was introduced to chiropractic at an early age by his Aunt and Uncle. It was from them that he learned about the body’s natural ability to heal from within and first experienced the profound impact it had on his health and the health of others. Dr. Tanner attributes routine chiropractic care as the foundation for staying healthy throughout his childhood.
After playing 4 years of collegiate soccer and graduating with his Bachelors of Science degree from Spring Arbor University, Dr. Tanner decided to follow in his Aunt and Uncle’s footsteps and attend the fountainhead, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Upon graduation, he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree and was the recipient of the highly respected Virgil V. Strang Philosophy Award. This award is presented for distinctive accomplishment and contributions to the philosophical principles of chiropractic.
Prior to graduating, Dr. Tanner helped open over a dozen neurologically focused chiropractic offices around the country and spent time serving in many others. He also had the privilege of serving on the Chancellor’s personal staff as President of Campus Guides, an organization founded to promote the betterment of the college and the profession, as well as enhance the experience of visitors and incoming students. This leadership experience along with working for The Palmer Foundation for Chiropractic History department, has driven his passion for chiropractic and his calling to be a “wayfinder”; helping people to navigate the journey of life and unleash their unlimited innate potential.
With health as our #1 asset, Dr. Tanner’s goal is to help kids and families grow up healthy, the way God intended, from above-down-inside-out. He wants to serve you by removing interference from your nervous system, which allows your body to function at its best ability, enabling you and your family to reach your fullest potential.
It was at Palmer College of Chiropractic that he met Dr. Jocelyn and they became close friends. Growing up in Michigan but being born in Texas, Dr. Tanner always knew he had southern blood and is ecstatic to call Tennessee his home.
Meet Scout!
Scout is our office pup and has been voted the most popular team member at Crossroads Chiropractic. Scout was adopted by Dr. Jocelyn and Dr. Kent and she is in the office practically every day. We don’t know exactly what breed she is - the best guess we have is a, “pointer mix.” In her first year and a half she had quite the story. She was originally born from an accidental litter of puppies in the Miami, FL area and since she wasn’t “the best hunting dog” she and some of her brothers and sisters were dumped into a pound. From there we have record she was moved to Georgia, then to Virginia, then to East Nashville and now has made her forever home with Dr. Jocelyn and Dr. Kent. She loves laying in the sun and getting belly rubs but her favorite activity in the office is napping! When she isn’t in the office her favorite activity is swimming! She also accepts any treat “donations” any of our humans bring her! Swing on in to meet Miss Scout!
