Story of Hope for Michelle

Challenges: Neurological tics, cervical dystonia, involuntary movements, anxiety

Michelle came into our office struggling with neurological tics with involuntary muscle movement from the neck. By the time she came into Crossroads Chiropractic, they had been going on for just over 15 years! The episodes were made worse by bright flashing lights and high pitch noises. She also noticed it was more likely to flare up when she was stressed or anxious. At that time, she was a mother to an eight month old little boy and the episodes were really hindering her ability to be the mom she wanted to be.

Michelle’s initial ASSessment

michelle’s Progress assessment

Michelle made the commitment to drive over an hour to Crossroads Chiropractic multiple days a week to stay up on her recommendations. With consistency, she noticed a dramatic decrease in the intensity of her symptoms. After 4 months of care, she was able to attend a concert that not only included loud music but a significant amount of pyrotechnics and light displays. After the concert, she did not experience a single neuological tic! Typically, this environment would send her into a large episode. Instead, she had a manageable headache that went away after her subsequent adjustment. Michelle was in complete shock that this concert did not create large ramifications in her health.

Michelle has since continued with her lifestyle care and continues to see progress. She is hopeful that with continued care, she will not have to live her life in fear of another flare up!
