Crossing Wires & Circular Ruts
/Do you ever feel like your body is not working how it is supposed to? Or maybe you just aren't able to do the same things that you could when you were younger? What if I told you that your brain isn't connected to your body correctly and that the wires that allow your brain to communicate with your body properly are crossed.
Well known author, Craig Groeschel shared a story about his first car. It was a used 1979 Buick Century. Craig saved up all of his money and had just enough to buy a new stereo but he didn't have any money left to pay for it to be professionally installed. After watching a few YouTube videos, he decided he would install it himself.
After several hours under the hood of the car, he finally heard the sound of eye of the tiger playing through the speakers. He was ecstatic! The next day when he went to drive to school he expected to roll in to the parking lot blaring rock music but to his disappointment no sound was playing. At night, it worked, during the day, nothing. After a few days Craig realized what the issue was. He had connected the stereo wires to the headlights. Instead of getting under the hood and fixing the crossed wires, he was that guy that drove around during the day with his headlights on.
Don't delay correcting the crossed wires allowing your brain to communicate with your body properly.
But what are these wires and how do they get crossed?
The wires that we are talking about involve the nerve fibers that are at the base of the brain that eventually become the spinal cord. These wires (nerves) regulate the involuntary (or automatic) nervous system which coordinates sleep/wake cycle of the brain, breathing, digestion, and blood pressure.
Do you want to feel younger? Or even just feel your age instead of feeling older than you are? Feeling unwell and weak is not the final destination. Have your wiring system checked by a neurologically based chiropractor to make sure your body is working at its best.
STUCK IN A RUT?
Just like the roads in Alaska when the winter snow melts and creates some seriously muddy ruts in the summer, your mind gets stuck in ruts.
When your nervous system gets stuck in a rut, chiropractors refer to it as a subluxation and it holds you back from living an optimal life. Without adequate traction, you end up spinning your wheels in a muddy rut, going nowhere until someone tows you into the clear. Chiropractic adjustments can help the body overcome the stresses that bog you down.
True health is being able to navigate through all the messy, stressful situations you encounter in life without getting stuck in a rut. Regular chiropractic care can help you do that.
